Aussie Aussie Aussie...oi oi oi

Today's was a very proud day in our family as Daddy became an Australian Citizen! What a milestone this is... 4 and a half years in Australia and he has achieved so much. The last tick in the box was for that citizenship which he proudly received today.

We headed to the local council office at Maribyrnong for the ceremony and our friends Frans and Fleur came along.  The Mayor of Maribyrnong called out Daddy's name and he received his certificate followed by a native Australian plant (no idea what kind of plant it was) and also a scarf of the Western Bulldogs (local AFL team).  After the ceremony we all went to the pub for a champagne to celebrate this big achievement and then we headed to a nice local tapas bar for some lovely food and wine.

Overall, a great afternoon...couldn't have asked for more...sun shining, 26 degrees, it was the perfect day to become an Australian!

The name of the rose

Bubba G, your daddy and I have been talking about possible names for you! So far these are on the shortlist (not in order of preference).....Sienna, Sofia, Gabriella, Scarlett, and Amelia!
We are no where near deciding what your name will be but the shortlist ain't so bad so you won't have a silly name no matter what!!

On another note, I am going to try my hardest for you to come out earlier than your due date so that your birthday is not too close to Christmas but ultimately only you will decide when it's time to meet your mama and your daddy xxx
